2008 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Boys and girls:
Summer is a great time to read those books you didn’t have time to read during the school year. On a rainy day or while you are traveling, why not sit down with a good book? Because we think reading is so important, the Media Center wants to encourage you to read ten books of your choice this summer. After you read ten books, ask your parent to sign the Summer Reading Coupon. Turn the coupon in to the media center when you return to school in August and it becomes your ticket to a special Reader’s Party.
If you need help in choosing some good books to read this summer, try these great websites for suggestions. Don’t forget to visit your public library. They will have some great suggestions too!
