Media Center Policies

The media center is open to students from 7:15 until 2:15 on Monday through Friday.  Parents are welcome to come to the media center to check out books with students any time the media center is open.

Kindergarten students are allowed to check out one book at a time for up to two weeks.

First, second and third grade students are allowed to check out two books at a time for up to 2 weeks.

Fourth and fifth grade students are allowed to check out three books for up to two weeks.  


Magazines may be checked out for three days.


Students may renew books for an additional two weeks.  Students are expected to come to the library with their library cards or agendas to check out books.

Parents may check out up to three books.

Students who lose or damage books are expected to reimburse the library for the value of the books.
