Creek View Elementary School has over 5,000 Accelerated Reader tests. Students may take tests on any school computer. The Accelerated Reader program tests comprehension on books that students have read. Each grade level has its own policy for administering the program. All books in the library do not have tests available. Students are encouraged to read books from a wide variety of genres whether tests are availabe or not. Grade level AR requirements
2nd Grade - 2 books per month, no points requirement, minimum 80% correct on tests.
3rd Grade - 4 points per grading period, minimum 80% correct on tests.
4th Grade - 5 points per grading period, minimum 80% correct on tests.
5th Grade - Students are required to read two books per month, no points requirement, one must be an Accelerated Reader book, minimum of 80% correct on tests.
